English Literature
What was your first job that involved PPC?
Working in-house for a local stainless steel company. From here, I did SEO, PPC, event management and so much more.
What kinds of things do you currently handle or manage in PPC?
As Head of Paid Media, I oversee the training, management and strategy. We mostly do Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and Paid Social.
What are you most proud of in your PPC career?
I’m most proud of my time at Evoluted. Over the last four years I’ve been able to not only progress from Executive to Head of Paid Media but I’ve also been able to build a brilliant team.
If you could give advice to someone either considering or just starting out in PPC, what would that be?
Where do I begin? Firstly, stay curious and keep trying new things.
Secondly, connect with the community. There are so many amazing, friendly and smart people in the PPC community. If you’re ever needing advice or just a second opinion, ask the community.
Thirdly, keep learning and keep receipts. Whenever you try something new, document it. Document what works, what didn’t work out, and what can be done differently next time. This will help you discover new tactics and better understand how the intricate machine of digital advertising functions.
