How long have you been working in PPC?

17 years

If you went to college, what did you study? If not college, do you have any other degrees or certifications?

Economics and Politics

What was your first job that involved PPC?

I worked at a creative agency in Camden Town where I started their SEO and PPC department with no experience in either. It was a steep and very useful learning curve.

What kinds of things do you currently handle or manage in PPC?

B2B and B2C campaigns across various industries including retail, finance and MARTECH. I work across all platforms, including Google, Microsoft, Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, Amazon, plus more.

What are you most proud of in your PPC career?

My Festival of Media award for a campaign I ran for the charity Shelter. I won with a search campaign in an all-media category back when search was just seen as an add-on. That was bloody brilliant!

If you could give advice to someone either considering or just starting out in PPC, what would that be?

Don’t be scared of testing, failing, learning and doing better. There’s no perfect way to run PPC campaigns.

Will we see you speaking at any conferecnes or webinars? Please list them below.

No, I’m too introvert for that.

Why are communities like PPC Live important for the industry?

Networking, knowledge sharing, and mental health. It’s amazing how rewarding and relieving it can be to connect with other people who understand you.

Where can people find you to connect (Twitter, LinkedIn, Threads, etc.)?

At a local pub. I don’t do social media, but if you really want to connect, you can find me on LinkedIn.
